Terms And Conditions Of Service

  • Services

    • Services: PC Emergency Room LLC will send a service representative to your home, office, or other designated location to diagnose, install, repair, and/or update your computer, network, and/or other related peripheral devices. Services may not be provided on-site if additional hardware or software is necessary or at your request. Service prices are listed on our website http:// www.PCER.us. Prices listed on website do no include New York State Sales Tax.
    • User Responsibility: You understand and agree that before contacting or allowing PC Emergency Room LLC to diagnose or repair your computer, etc., you are responsible to back-up all files, pictures, movies, or any other information on your computer. If you are unable to do so, please advise us before any work begins.
      • PC EMERGENCY ROOM LLC CANNOT PERFORM ANY OPERATING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE UNLESS THE CUSTOMER CAN PRESENT A VALID OPERATING SYSTEM CD AND LICENSE KEY OR CODE.
      • PC Emergency Room LLC is not responsible for the loss or corruption of any data, and the media storage device being used, including without limitation: all software applications, operating systems, folders, files, documents, correspondence, photographs, videos, movies, and music files of any form or type whatsoever that is stored on the disabled device.
      • Data backup services are provided by PC Emergency Room LLC for an additional charge.
      • Data recovery is a highly specialized field that may require the services of an outside vendor. You agree that PC Emergency Room LLC will not be held responsible for any loss of files or corruption of data.
    • Service Pricing: The price for all services performed is listed on our website, http://www.pcer.us. If you would like a complete list please inform us. All prices listed are subject to change. If a service must be performed which is not listed or provided, an hourly rate will be charged. Prices listed on website do no include New York State Sales Tax.
    • Billing: All services performed will be billed at the completion of the visit. You will be responsible for any new or replacement hardware necessary for any service to be completed. A 50% deposit is required for all hardware or software purchases that need to be ordered.

  • On-Site Service

    • Scheduling: To make an appointment call during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM, Saturday 10 AM – 4 PM. Additional charges may apply for service outside of standard installation hours.
    • A Person Of Legal Age Must Be At Location Of Service: For all jobs, a person of at least 1 years of age must be present for services to be provided. IF A REPRESENTATIVE ARRIVES AT THE SCHEDULED TIME AND EITHER NO ONE OR NO ADULT IS PRESENT A $50 CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED.
    • The maximum time for an on-site service call is 5 hours. Any service call requiring more then 5 hours of service an hourly rate will be added to your bill.
    • BACKUP YOUR SOFTWARE AND DATA: PC Emergency Room LLC is not responsible for any files, pictures, videos, or other data that is not backed up before the technician arrives (back-up services available for an additional charge).
    • Minimum System Requirements For Service and/or Addition to Membership Plan:
      • All computers to be networked must have a minimum of 1GB of hard disk space and 256 MB of RAM.
      • All passwords must be available at time of service.
      • Microsoft Windows XP / Windows Server 2003 and newer, or Mac OS X and newer.
      • Operating System disc and License Key or Code must be available at the time of service.
      • All computers to be networked must be Malware free and in good working condition, or a service fee will be added in order to diagnose and resolve the problem.
    • Access: The PC Emergency Room LLC representative must receive complete access to the computer(s) to be serviced, your residence or place of business, your consent and cooperation to enter your residence or business, and a safe working environment, working space, electrical power, and any passwords which may be necessary.

  • Changes and Cancellations

    To change or cancel your service visit, you must contact PC Emergency Room LLC at 718-815-7237. You must call 2 hours prior to the scheduled appointment or a $50 cancellation fee will be charged.

  • Memberships

    • Membership Plans Include: Service for all computers in your home or office. You will be assigned a technician from PC Emergency Room LLC to work for your office. This technician will always be the same. After scheduling an appointment during regular business hours, your technician will come to your home or office and run any necessary virus/spyware scans on any/all computers, check any/all network settings, find any other problems which may be slowing or impacting any or all of your systems, and troubleshoot any other problems or errors your computers may be experiencing. Your technician is always "on call" for your company; call our office and your technician will arrive same day to diagnose and repair the problem; if for any reason your technician is unavailable to come to your office another technician will be provided. We also provide remote support to try and solve the problem immediately, at an additional cost.
    • Member Discount: Membership Discount applies only to cost of services performed. Membership Discount DOES NOT apply to Consultation Fee, hardware or software costs, Web Design, Computer/DVR Construction, cabling labor, or New York State Sales Tax.
    • Billing: All services performed will be billed at the completion of the visit. A 50% deposit is required for all hardware or software purchases that need to be ordered.   • Coupons

    • Coupon Types
      • Standard Coupons can be used by anyone, regardless of Membership status. The expire at the end of the month they are distributed.
      • Special Coupons can only be used by someone with an active Membership status. These coupons are non-transferrable.
      • Referral Coupons can only be used by someone with an active Membership status They are available in unlimited supply. Each Referral Coupon must be validated to be available for use (See V-2 Referral Rewards Program). These coupons expire after six (6) months.
      • Elite Coupons can be used by someone with and active Elite Membership status or by validating five (5) Referral Coupons (See Referral Rewards Program). These coupons do not expire. These coupons are non-transferrable.
    • Referral Rewards Program: In order for your referral coupons to be available for use they must first be validated. Referral Coupons come in two (2) parts, one for you the member and one for any friend or family member who is not a member. Give one (1) part to any non member and after they use it your half become validated. You will receive a notification from PC Emergency Room LLC that your Referral Coupon is now active and can be used.
    • Restrictions: The following applies to all coupons:
      • Coupons can only be used one (1) time per coupon.
      • Coupons expire immediately if Membership ends or is terminated.
      • More then one (1) coupon may or may not be combined with Member Discount (see coupon for details).
      • Coupon discounts cannot be applied to Consultation Fee, monthly membership costs, Computer/DVR construction, Web Design, cabling labor rates, hardware or software costs, or New York State Sales Tax unless explicitly stated on coupon.
      • PC Emergency Room LLC reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any coupon, at any time, for any reason including but not limited to invalid coupon code, expired coupon code, used coupon code, expired or terminated membership, membership fees outstanding, unpaid invoice or bill, or any other reason.
